Outcomes / Results
The results positioned Xanli as a strong new entrant in the luxury cabin rental space. The brand now communicates exclusivity, trust, and modern living through its design system. The website provides a seamless, user-friendly booking process, designed to maximize conversions. By combining strategy, design, and technology, the project created a foundation capable of driving bookings, generating awareness, and competing with larger platforms.
Project Overview
Xanli is a premium cabin rental brand created to redefine the luxury travel experience in the Smoky Mountains. The project involved developing a complete brand identity system, digital presence, and booking platform to position Xanli as a modern, design-driven alternative to traditional cabin rentals.
The Client Challenge / Problem
The challenge was entering a competitive vacation rental market dominated by established platforms like Airbnb and Vrbo, while still standing out with a unique, recognizable identity. The brand needed a clear positioning strategy, strong visual storytelling, and a seamless digital experience that reflected exclusivity and premium quality.
Objectives & Goals
The goal was to design a compelling brand and digital ecosystem that communicated luxury and trust, while making the booking experience intuitive for users. Objectives included:

Process / Approach
Our process began with discovery and research, including competitor analysis, traveler personas, and industry benchmarking. From there, we moved into brand strategy and design, developing moodboards, color palettes, typography, and logo variations that conveyed elegance and modernity. For the website and UI/UX, we designed wireframes and user flows that emphasized intuitive navigation, seamless booking, and immersive visuals. High-fidelity prototypes brought the concept to life, ensuring both function and aesthetics aligned with the brand’s luxury positioning.
